Team mac-fusion: Tour of Long Beach 2011

A good time was had by all on Saturday as cyclist took a 31 mile tour through Long Beach all in the name of a good cause. The event was to raise money for the Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach and the Jonathan Jaques Children’s Cancer Center. There was family fun waiting at the finish line with slides, rock climbing and face painting. Kohl’s sponsored a helmet give away for the kids which included a bike helmet and backpack bag filled with safety information and accessories.

While team mac-fusion was small in numbers, they were big in heart and donated extra money and received a stylish mac-fusion tee with the above artwork screened onto the back. Let’s look at the team:

As a bonus we ran into a client at the finish line. Doug Albrecht (on the right) is the Director of Information Management at the Port of Long Beach. In addition to being one of the nicest “PC guys” I know, I always suspected he had great legs. Confirmed!

A big thanks to all of our team for making this such a great event. Looking forward to finding more opportunities to get the team together.
