Apple has come out with a work around for those experiencing antenna problems with their iPhone 4. They will soon offer free bumpers (and other selected cases) or give you a refund on your existing bumper purchase. So if you are NOT having issues do you still do it?

No problems with the phone at all. I was planning on getting a bumper anyway, but haven’t because I just bought a $299 phone. A free bumper is much appreciated. I am paying for it through monthly bills to AT&T and my loyalty to Apple.

I chose other… I’m not asking for a refund or anything at this point (and really don’t “need” one).

My iPhone 4 works fine without a bumper… but I had ordered a bumper with it when I preordered. I hate the bumper. I was going to sell it, but now there is basically zero market for for them since everyone knows they can get a free one. So I’m out $30 no matter what. A refund is a welcome option instead of trying to sell it in a dead market.

I’m gonna ask for a free bumper. I don’t want a case but I want to see what the bumpers are like.

I don’t have a signal/antenna issue at all but if I move or am visiting somewhere where the signal strength is a little weak. I’d like the option to throw on a bumper to make sure I’m getting the best I can.

Thank you for taking this chance to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and I benefit from researching this subject. If at all possible, when you gain data, please update this web site with new information. I’ve found it extremely useful.
