Today I needed to get a 181MB file to a very remote client. I would normally do my iDisk with my FTP home page. It dawned on me that I had gotten a zillion emails saying that they were taking away all those old .mac homepage sites. I briefly opened up iWeb but didn’t see anything glaringly obvious as a FTP front end to share this file on my iDisk. Well maybe I should spend more time on my mobileme.com website as Apple has made this so easy. From your mobileme site you can click on your iDisk and upload a file to your iDisk. Once it’s uploaded you click on the file and click Share. It sends out a fancy little email with a link that allows your user to do one click and it starts downloading to their download folder. Fantastic, no?
