Back up battery for your iPhone and iPod

My husband told me about this product when it first came out. I thought it was silly and clunky. Why would I need this? I spend half my day in the car driving around with access to an iPhone charger. The other half of the day tied to my computer with a charging cable in my bag. I laughed it off. Recently we went to San Francisco for MacWorld. Our flight was delayed, I spent too much time playing Jirbo Jam and forgot that my bluetooth headset which I packed in my carry on was still connected to my phone. All of these are quick death for your iPhone battery. We got in so late and I had plans to meet friends. My iPhone was now totally dead and I had no way to contact anyone as all their numbers lived on my iPhone (I’m a sloppy syncer and didn’t add them to my address book). It was one of my lower technology moments with me nearly in tears while riding on BART.

Here’s where Richard Solo comes in.
My husband stumbles across their booth at MacWorld and they are having some crazy show pricing and picks up two of these for barely more than the normal price of one. I love it. I don’t have to use it often but when I need it I am always so relieved.

It’s about two inches high and not thicker than the iPhone. You are able to use the phone while it is charging it. It takes about 45 or so minutes to give you almost a full charge. A must for travelers.
